The Oasis at Death Valley operates two hotels, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest-elevation golf course. Our historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch offer guests a variety of accommodations. Both hotels have swimming pools that are open annually and are fed from naturally warm local springs.
Job Summary The Golf and Grounds Director controls all Golf and Grounds operations. This includes all operations at the golf course, grounds at The Inn, and grounds at the Ranch. Grounds responsibilities include all exterior spaces of the structures to include lawns, streets, trees, sidewalks, hedges, planting beds, walls, porches, etc.

Qualifications
Previous Golf Course Superintendent or Horticulturist experience at a high level.
2- or 4-year turf degree or related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead and direct Golf Course and landscaping personnel.
Budgetary management experience.
Willingness and ability to work as part of a Resort management team.
Strong attention to detail, passion for excellence and a positive attitude.
Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
Must be able to demonstrate professional and courteous behavior with all guests and employees.
California Pesticide Applicators License within 3 months of hire.
Valid Driver’s License (45-day grace period from date of hire until applicant must have valid driver’s license.)
Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
